1. I've been giggling since the '70s.

Deep Throat was, of course, named after a well-known porn flick of the time, which I saw. After the Watergate scandal became public, and especially after "All the President's Men" came out, I couldn't think about Woodward & Bernstein's Mr. Throat without thinking about the movie. And giggling. There was NOTHING about the Nixon administration that would otherwise conjure up images of blowjobs. Nothing.

5. Green doors now are ok. All I remember is someone on a swing
and several male people in attendance. This was my first and last porn film. Not my thing. But I wouldn't worry about a green door since 1980. Green is nice, like Kermit.

6. "Green" is my favorite color ! Was that swing Red Velvet?
and the scandal about "What's behind the green door?" was more about the leading lady who was working for Proctor and Gamble representing the purity of "Ivory Snow" laundry soap.

- an early lesson in not judging a book by it's cover -
