for Christmas -- a present to the family kind of thing -- oh wow was that halftime show cool. We rewound it (DVR) and watched it twice turned up really loud. I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbors heard it. My kids weren't as impressed as we were, but who cares. That was fun.

Man, even in what the critic's call his vanilla days, I've been a fan of the guy!

Was it '92 or '93 I finally got to see him in concert? It was around that time. He started the show by doing the intro to Sgt. Pepper's and segued that into a FABULOUSLY ROCKIN' guitar jam with the other guys on stage that lasted for 15 minutes.

He also sang little known ditties from pre-Wings, post-Beatles like "Cook of the House" and "Wino-Junko".

I assume he was pretty darn good yesterday...

I'm not a big Paul fan, but I really enjoyed the halftime show for a change. He picked some good tunes, and with the exception of all the Red, White, and Blue, I thought the Na-Na-Na Na was fun.
