8. this is what is known as a
"concert." it occurs when you watch an artist perform, because you enjoy their music

9. Exactly!!
My husband and I saw Paul on tour last year in Portland and it simply was one of the best concerts I have ever seen.

11. I'm sure Paul in concert is awesome
Paul on TV in concert loses alot of the energy, fun and magic.

10. This is a prime example of why concerts aren't "televised"
:hi:

4. I'll say this
It beat the hell out of U2's preening and posturing, or that 1979 SB classic, "Up With People". :puke:

5. Excellent show
Very cool with the cross thing that another poster refered to as "weird" for some reason.

6. You mean by selling out?
It was a damn NASCAR commercial.

Janet Jackson could have given Kid Rock a live Cleveland Steamer, it still would have been less obscene.

7. He had me, aaaaaaaand he lost me.
First off, it's always great to see Sir Paul still out there, giving it all he's got. The first two Beatles songs were okay - sounding much like the recorded originals. But, Live and Let Die - a hammer-on rendition *and* with pyro, was pretty impressive.

But ending it on "Hey Jude," - an ABRIEVIATED redition at that - just ground it to a halt before it was over...
