My nose is congested and runny at the same time....

And it's freaking annoying! I've taken day-quil and a benedryl. Nothing is helping. Can someone please help me with this? This cold sucks. But I think it's more than a cold, cause I had a fever earlier this morning.

I've had it happen to me before. drink alot of water and try to blow your nose alot.

other then that, there's not much you can do but be miserable.

2. I have the same problem. Try Sudafed. Definitely helps.

3. You need a combo product

One that contains an antihistamine and a decongestant. The antihistamine will stop the production of new mucus and the decongestant will help clear out what is already there. I've suffered bad allergies for most of my life. Sudafed is only a decongestant. Benadryl is only an antihistamine. If you have both, you can take both at the same time. Just be careful that you don't double up on either the antihistamine (usually chlorpheneramine maleate, dexbrompheneramine maleate or diphenhydramine HCL) or the decongestant (pseudoephedrin). The best OTC combo product I've found is Drixoral.

4. Take a really hot shower/bath ...

Then use some Vick's Vapo-Rub. Always gets it flowing for me. Then, take some Nyquil & go to bed. You shouldn't have to be awake for this. :D
