I'm so pathetic. My list:

Shrek 2

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Yes...I have kids

1. Not may of the features
In fact, only Spiderman 2.

But, my local art museum will be showing most if not all of the nominated short films in a few weeks and I never miss that show. Especially because of the animated ones but sometimes the live action ones are equally magnificent.

2. my list is pathetic too...
Ray
Supersize Me
Shrek 2
Passion of the Christ

Usually I see just about every best picture nominated film...but this year, for some reason, that hasn't happened

3. I've seen all the Best Pic nominees...
and the best picture (in my humble opinion) was Million Dollar Baby, though I think The Aviator will win.

Still would like to see Hotel Rwanda and Being Julia.

4. Here goes with what I've seen:
Edited on Mon Feb-07-05 01:11 PM by RubyDuby in GA
Hotel Rwanda, Finding Neverland, The Aviator, Million Dollar Baby, Ray, Sideways, Collateral, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Incredibles, Shrek 2, Lemon Snicket, Troy, Super Size Me, Harry Potter, The Village, Spider-Man 2, I Robot (ugh - I want my money back), Before Sunset.

This week I'll be seeing: Phantom of the Opera, Shark Tale, Closer, Kinsey

Next week Motorcycle Diaries comes out on DVD.

I wish I could see Vera Drake, but it didn't come anywhere near where I live. Same goes for Being Julia.

On edit: I simply refuse to watch Passion of the Christ.

15. Shark Tale is AWFUL
I saw it on an airplane ride to Hawaii. After 8 hours in a plane, I'm not really all that picky as far as entertainment is concerned, but it literally put me to sleep. I was traveling with a 7 year old who LOVES movies...he also thought it was awful. It's really just a completely non-funny version of Finding Nemo.

7. Oh, man, several.
Edited on Mon Feb-07-05 01:49 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Shrek 2
Spiderman 2
The Passion of the Christ
The Village (nominated for best score)
Finding Neverland
The Incredibles
I, Robot

I can recommend these to anyone. I loved The Village. My favorite, though, is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, although, I hope Finding Neverland wins everything except for the score. The Harry Potter Movies have always had the best music. John Williams is a fabulous songwriter.
