Abbott has discovered the joys of large brown paper bags
I was shopping today for produce and they only had brown paper bags - no biggie for me (Yes, I love plastic but that's because I use them for garbage bags at home).

Abbott is totally fascinated with this bag, that I left on the kitchen floor. He hides out in it and when Evita goes near the food - he'll jump out and scare the bejesus out of her.

I'd pick up and put the bag away but I'm having too much fun watching this cat in a bag. Next time he's in there I'm gonna pick up the entire bag with him in it

4. If I leave plastic bags on the floor, my kitty Geneva...
...will play in it and always winds up with her head through the handle. She then runs around the house with the bag trailing behind her like a cape.

and no...I don't leave plastic bags lying around for the cats to suffocate in.

5. Throw some catnip in there
Ours really love that, they get in the bag and cop a good buzz.

6. Our cat 'Colonel Thompson' loves the paper bags also.
But he is scared to death of plastic ones!

He has learned to deal with grocery days, but if we rustle a plastic bag anywhere outside the kitchen, he hides under the bed for an hour.

7. my black cat Clark loves paper bags and boxes but he
just detests plastic bags or anything really rustly like that.

I have left the brown bags out more than once for the kitties to play in for a bit before I put them away. They like the cardboard tubes from the paper towels and toilet paper too.

8. our cats love them!
although one dumb one often tries to eat them. Sadly just goes to show how one troublemaker can ruin the fun for everyone.
