Fuck, I lost my keys. Fuck fuck fuck.

I didn't misplace them, they're fucking GONE.

I don't know what the HELL to do now. Now I can't drive, and I can't lock the door to my apartment. It had my dorm key, my car key, the keys to my padlock at work and my mini-library card. I brought them to class at 5pm, and when I left, I realized I didn't have them, so I went back to the classroom and checked under all the desks, on the floor, in all my pockets, inside all the creases in my jacket, etc.

I pray to GOD that nobody stole them.

I need support!!!:cry::cry::cry:

3. If they would be anywhere, they'd be in the classroom.
And I turned that classroom upside-down like a DEA agent on a drug bust.

4. You can always try Ask the Admins, but nothingshocksmeanymore
tried that once, and I don't think she got anywhere.

Seriously though, try and relax, breathe and think. Perhaps you dropped them on the ground from the way to class from your car. Perhaps they are on your floorboard? Hope you find them. I know that feeling and my heart goes out to you.

7. I checked my car, and they're not in there.
I always remember to not lock my keys in the car when I'm leaving it.

6. I'm a life long Chronic Loser of Keys. Calm down. Try to breathe.
The more panicked you are, the longer it will take to find them. Keep looking. Odds are they will turn up. If you don't find them in your apartment, go anyplace you've been recently and check at desks/lost and found areas. I hope you find them soon

8. I once dropped them into my PO box without realizing it
Thought they were gone forever. Then I went to the PO and noticed them sitting in a "lost and found" tray. The postal clerk said it happens all the time. People use their keys to open their PO boxes, then drop them in there when they pick up their mail.

They were in one of my inside-lining jacket pockets. I don't know WHAT THE HELL they were doing there. I didn't remember putting them there.

OK, show's over people, nothing to see here.

11. Smiley... your dorm = your apt? I'm confused. Chances are...
someone found them in/near class and turned them in. Try maintenance, administration, class instructor, in the AM.

Please make a second set when you find them. Keys are not a big theft item. What would one do with them?

12. Relax and take a deep breath
They can be replaced, and it isn't the most horrible thing that could happen to you. Those poor schmucks in Iraq would probably be thrilled to trade places with you.
Things really could be worse.

16. Look in all the sofa and chair cushions. Did you walk around
Outside before you went inside. I lost mine once in the garden, probably picking a tomatoe on my way inside from work.
