3. Someone posted this earlier today, but
it is worth seeing again. I just love this kid! Imagine what he was thinking...he woke up..he is only four so he did not know the store where he gets videos would be closed..but he was awake and it probably sounded like a good idea to just go get one..and he thought.."i can do this"...no need to wake up mom...so out he goes and drives to the store. What a guy!! What an interesting kid! Ha!

5. her mistake
could have killed her son in a head on collision, it's not a cute story, well it starts out cute until you hear that she taught him how to steer.... um, perhaps she should have taken the time to say, you never do this alone, turn him around, and say, do you understand me? you could get hurt and mommy'd be sad!

if he's smart enough to drive a car (smart kid!) he'd be smart enough to listen to her.

and yes I'm jumpin on her ass because, once again, her beloved boy could easily have been dead in a head on.

she knew he was shown how to drive, she should have kept her keys up.

6. I am with you.
That kid should never been allowed by the Mom behind that wheel. Kids learn by example, she should have been charged with child abuse . The idiot!!!!

9. good!
glad you agree, makes me not feel like a total idiot on here, usually I get yelled at for my attempts to rationalize common sense comments.

and to the guy who asked, the article said he didn't touch the gas pedal, too short, as you suspected, he just put the car in gear and let it drive 5-10 mph down the road in the dark with the lights off!
(SHUDDER!!!!!!!!!!!)

7. i let my 4, 5, 6 year old sit on lap and stir
and i know neither of my boys in no way would get the keys start the car back out of garage. shit, i never showed them how to unlock a door so they had no interest getting out of the house. i mean, neither of my kids would even kinda think to do something like this. i tell them a danger they believe. they absolutely would see the danger of driving the car, without me, lol lol all on their own

it is an odd story

8. i jsut dont believe it all around
even for an abnormally tall 4 year old he couldnt reach gas and look over the wheel out the window

further, i know what the boys are doing all day, day in and out and they are 7 and 9. i especially knew what was up at 4. would hear a door open and shut. would hear the keys alone. would hear your car starting.

i dont know that i believe this
