Update on my job saga

I on my lunch break now, leaving in a minute to go back to work...but I had to put this out there.

Yesterday, I found a name and number of a temp agancy written on the desk calendar. Today, my boss calls me and asks me for that number. she claims that she's looking for someone to come in and help me out. (The books are in a mess beyond repair, due to half of the bookkeeping being done in her head for years.)

Now, Friday, I was sent home at 10:30 because her friend was coming up there "to use (my) computer". My computer is the only one in the office with Quickbooks on it. She claims that the temp and i will split duties, one entering new data, one entering old. How can we do this on one computer? I didn't ask because I know what's really going on.

I'm going back to hell now, will be back later to read responses and further update.

1. Did you get the name of the temp agency?

I used to have friends that worked for temp agencys, and found good permanant jobs. Sounds like you're unhappy where you are. Milk the temp for info. That would be one in the eye to your boss.

I've worked for that agency before, but through a different branch. They sucked big time anyway.
