HELP! I just got my license plate!!!!

I just bought a new car, and received my license plate in the mail yesterday.

Here in NM, the plate is a group of three letters and a group of three numbers (or vice versa).

The three letters on my plate? G W B

Should I take it down to the MVD and see if I can trade it or am I overreacting?

Or you can report it stolen and get a new one. :shrug:

Edit: or you can shuck out a few more dollars and get a vanity plate. Maybe something like DEMZRUL. :-)

There's a high school here that has the initials GW & everytime I see one of their stickers on a car, I always think they're shrub supporters. You don't want anyone to make that mistake ... do you? :scared:

But you'll have to pay for a replacement. I moved before I got my plates for my then new car in 2000 and post office return my plates to the DMV. (it's the law) I had to pay for replacement plates.

Sure it costs a little bit more, but in this particular case, I'd say that it's well worth the cost.

You might be able to sell the current one to a freep-type for their "GWB Shrine of Shameful Douchebaggery" as well.
