4. Put feet up for a while...
to take down end-of-day swelling, then use something slippery like KY. If that fails and it's cutting off your circulation, see friendly local emergency room.

6. When I was pregnant, a jeweler slid a very thin file under
my wedding band and sawed it off, since my weight gain had made it impossible for me to just slide the ring off.

But I would try lots of soapy lather or some oil first.

7. simple.
metal expands as it gets warmer, right? So simply hold a lit zippo under the ring for two or three minutes and then it'll slip right off!

warning, I reccomend wearing gloves while engaging in this procedure, as the ring might scald your fingers.

12. Or you could use a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel
to saw through the ring.
Probably best to avoid drinking coffee first.

13. well sure, but my way doesn't destroy the ring
and requires only a $.99 investment.

18. hey, I specifically included he warning to wear gloves!
and I was talking about the upfront investment, not recurring charges from unforseen complications leading from the unskilled or innapropriate use of this method.
