13. Attention seeking behavior

People who feel powerless like to find ways to exert control. If they can get people upset, angry, or irritated, it somehow validates their existence. For some sad, miserable people, even NEGATIVE attention is better than no attention at all.

It says a lot about them. They really are to be pitied, though it is hard to pity that which is loathsome or annoying on the surface.
