Are appliance delivery people insane?

They were supposed to call me last night to tell me they were coming. They don't tell me they're coming so I go to work. They call my house and get no answer because I'm at work. They call my work and get voicemail so they give up! I waited all day at work for a call telling me to meet them at home so they can deliver my refrigerator. It would be NICE if I could take an entire day off just to wait for them but it's not going to happen. Now I have to go through all again tomorrow. AARRRRRGGGGHHHH!

thats a pain. I have the cable guy on thurday, i already took the day off cause i know he'll show up at the very last moment.
