1. They left out getting her a pocket rocket or a rabbit vibe....
Or even the nicely packaged 4 pack of massage oil - and a massage of course.

I'm crushed. Just don't get her the school girl outfit - unless you know she's into it AND KNOW HER SIZE!

I always cringe when the guys come in to get outfits for their wives on Valentines day. Most don't even know what size their wife is.

Guys, if you are heading down this road consider buying a toy for her and a g-string for you and dressing up for HER for once.

2. I once worked in a department store, mostly in the lingerie department
The men NEVER knew what size their wife wore. Never. I'd have to say, "Point out someone in the crowd who is about your wife's size...Okay, she's probably an extra large."

One guy said, "B-b-but she's not very tall!"

The neighboring department was men's clothing, and I was sometimes sent over there to fill in when they got busy. Women would come in and tell me what sizes their husbands and sons and brothers and fathers wore. To be fair, the men usually knew their own sizes. But not always. :-)

3. Pathetic isn't it?
Especially now that I sell lingerie, I love to browse women's clothing. I pick out outfits for my wife all the time. I like to shop more than she does. It really scares the other women in the dept store when they see me going through a rack picking out stuff and asking the wife, "how 'bout this one?"

I picked out a couple of pieces for my 19yo daughter that were really a hit for xmas this year too. I have a vivacious feminine side just trying to bust out.
