5. Tried a few, they're OK, but...

with the wine glut, it's almost impossible to get a bad bottle at any price, and you can get some really good ones for under 5 bucks.

Right next to the 3 buck chuck around here are 4 buck wines that are at least a dollar better.

Besides, even though TJ isn't sayin' where he gets the stuff, I prefer not to give Gallo any more of my money.

I'll admit this could simply be a dumb prejudice on my part, but I don't always see the whole world in blue and red.

9. Try Trader Joe's "Black Mountain Fat Cat Cabernet"...

It is awesome and costs between about $5.00 to $6.00 a bottle. I have a friend who owns a restaurant and does a lot of catering. She catered my birthday party but I bought the wine and beer. I bought the "Fat Cat" Cabernet and she absolutely loved it. She told me that she uses it for all of her catering jobs and has had a lot of people ask her what cabernet she serves.

You will not be disappointed...
