Q: I'm really stressing out over school right now, and...

... I am starting to feel this weird pressure on the left side of my chest, where my heart is, and it won't go away. What should I do?

1. when did you start feeling it?

is your arm numb?

when i am suffering from a lot of stress, i feel a similar pressure, with my heart racing sometimes. had it checked out and the doc said it was....stress.

why don't you have it checked out to put your mind at ease?

2. Panic attack?

There's a good chance it's that if your under alot of stress it's a panic attack; to be on the safe side I'd go to the ER if it's bad...

5. PS I had a bad arrythmia once when I was 27.

Ended up in the ER and everything, even though it was probably from smoking. I really would do something about this immediately.

If so, that's good. It means that your stomach is upset and you need to relax, have a beer and watch the tube or go to bed.
