Liam claims new album is “the best in the world”

Noel Gallagher was talking up the new Oasis album last month, revealing they had 60 songs to choose from - now it's Liam's turn.

He was at a film premiere in London on Sunday with his son Gene and revealed that the new record's almost finished, and includes a few of his own compositions:

"A load of songs, some written by me, some written by Noel. I don't know - I reckon it's a good album. I don't want to say too much about it, you know what I mean, 'cause people think you're a big head an' that.”

I saw Oasis at Numbers in Houston years ago. Their set concluded with a 15 minute version of I Am the Walrus........8 minutes into it my friend asked me if the walrus was an endangered species, I shrugged, so he grabbed my arm and dragged me out saying "good, so we can leave this one to die". :D

Oasis could think of fifteen minutes to play whereas The Beatles could only think of less than five. The Oasis version is three times better than The Beatles' version.
