1. Do you get them often?
What do you usually take? Or how do you usually treat them?

I get them several times a year, and half the time it goes into my ears.

I haven't found a good over-the-counter remedy. I usually wait it out in misery.

:(

3. No I don't get them often....but the headache is killing me.
I already sprayed some Afrin up my nostrils to relieve the congestion.

2. if you had some really good drugs, could you play an NBA game?
or would you stay home & still collect your $10,000 per game paycheck?

5. Get anitbiotics
If it really is an infection you will need them. I used to get 3-4 a year until I started using steroid spray.

8. I have a doc appt on monday already so that helps.
I'll get him to prescribe me some SMZ-TMP (which I am supposed to take for prophylaxis against opportunistic infections anyway, but I don't because it's just one more pill and my counts are close to not needing it anyway).

6. Just a sinus infection?
I thought I had a sinus infection because I had pain in my throat, a crapload of post nasal drip, and then my lower jaw was sore. Turns out I have the flu!

Will any of those help?

13. I find a good mint tea really helps relieve the stuffiness
but chamomile is nice if you want to take a nap.
