Let's hear your ideas for Halloween costumes.
Also, let's hear your Halloween jokes.

What kind of music do mummies like?

Why, wrap music, of course.

1. Oh, I'm going as Bush, of course.
Might as well, since he's making us all in his image even as we speak.

7. how about going as Bush dressed as the Village People?
Get a bunch of people together and wear the clothes he's used in photo-ops. Cowboy Bush, Habitat-for-Humanity Construction Worker Bush, NYPD jacket Bush, and of course Aviator Bush. You could even bring a ghetto-blaster and do a little choreographed dance number to "In the Navy".

4. Since I'm a bit too old to go out...
... I have always wanted to greet kids at the door in a "Werewolves of London" costume... furry feet, furry hands, big pompadour like Michael Landon had in "I Was a Teenage Werewolf," my best three-piece suit and a walking stick, and Warren Zevon going in the background, full blast.

Just never seem to take enough time beforehand to actually do it... well, one of these days, "aaaahhhhwwwwooooo.... Werewolves of London! (His hair was perfect!)"

Cheers.

6. When I do dress up...
And can't think of anything original, I go as the Invisible Man - not a joke. If you've read the book, seen the movie, or even seen "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," you'll understand. A cheap white bedspread from Walmart torn into shreds and wrapped around my head, sunglasses, trenchcoat, and gloves. Yes, it's hot, but it's a damn scarier costume than any of the hundred dollar grotesque masks you find in costume shops because there is no expression on the face. You can wear a monster mask with horns, bared teeth, and a tongue hanging out, and you know the person is trying to be scary, but with your head just wrapped in bandages and sunglasses, you don't know if the person is smiling, glaring at your menacingly, or even looking your way. I've won contests with it and gotten dozens of screams from people when I turn the corner, and they see me for the first time. I love it.
