UPDATE: on the little old lady across the street.

Today, her daughter's car was seen in the driveway. Not by me, but a neighbor let me know. The daughter was there for a few minutes, but the little old lady was not seen. The daughter also placed the overturned lawn chair (which I referenced in my OP) back in order to block the driveway.

I can surmise a few things now:

If she's dead, she's at least not sitting in her house. No ambulance or bonewagon was called.
The daughter is aware of what's going on. Thank God.

At any rate, the matter is in other hands now and I can stop worrying a little bit. I can also feel comfortable to post at DU again. I was reticent to do so recently - as in "Sure, you made a good point, but what about the dead little old lady across the street, you heartless bastard?"

Thanks to everyone who showed concern, and if there's any more news I'll let you guys know.
