Wow what a day

Only my second day on the hill and I met the guy I am working for plus got my picture taken with him, plus a free lunch!

Congratulations John! My advice? Go with your gut and don't be afraid to ask questions of superiors and always always always take notes <---that's what I tell my 16 year old who is also aspiring to a Government oriented career.

So today I was down there, and doing some constiuent services and all of sudden, Congressman Clay, the guy I work for comes in and introduces himself to me and we shake hands.

He is the congressman for part of the suburb I live in...My area was redistricted to the 3rd congressional district in Missouri.

I don't like the fact that he's a legacy and got there because of his daddy but he does vote correctly on most issues.
