Should Gannon fear for his physical safety?

With the massive response to this story, I wonder if somebody isn't gonna take it upon himself to get some revenge?

Were I Mr. Gannon, I would seriously consider the anonymity that may be found in another country.

Personally, I just want to see him jailed, not Lynched.

1. No, but the Right would like to accuse the Left of such actions.

He's a laughingstock, not a target of violence. The whole "I fear for the safety of my family and myself" is just a ruse to excuse his sudden disappearance from public view as he comes under investigation from us lefties. He's not in danger of physical violence--but he is in danger of being completely exposed...and I think there's more to this story.
