I thought that woman had alot of nerve going into the Lesbian household and being as OBNOXIOUS, UNFRIENDLY & JUDGEMENTAL as she was. But worse, the way she treated Chris at the end was horrible. I could not believe the bile that was coming out of her mouth. And the husband was a giant PUSSY for not telling her to shut the hell up. & She thinks shes tolerant?



The only good thing about the entire episode? That they kept saying she was a Republican. I hope lots of people got a look at how tolerant & caring they are.............. NOT

1. I came upstairs after a bit

I couldn't watch it.

First of all they pick the most slovenly gay couple I've ever seen. Every gay couple I know has a great house, clean, nice. The ones with kids have smart, cool, respectfull children.

Then they pick a texas christian republican inter-racial couple with a spotless house and kids.

*sigh*

I left after the woman said something about taking kids to a gay restaurant was going to make them promiscuous.

Your right though- it's like the producers found the most lax lesbian parents in the world.

an interracial couple, and in TEXAS, for God's sake, then you'd think they'd be a little more understanding of what the gay couple had to deal with on a daily basis. But I certainly hope you're right, I hope people see that and realize just how some repubs really are (NOT ALL, mind you, but enough to make a difference in the party).

8. The Repub lady was an ass...she made the lesbian lady

put a "Vote Republican" sign in front of the house...ummm, that woulda gotten quite a response from me...

At the end, she was saying how being a lesbian into her household was similaar to having a sexual predator in the midst of her children...and the lesbian woman broke down, basically saying that all she wanted to do was bring something positive to her children...

I've never seen anyone this extreme before...but it was heartbreaking...

14. I watched it

and it was the first time I'd seen the show.

The Repub woman said they were "immoral" but I never heard her say they were "sexual predators." The conversation steered there, but I really don't remember her saying those words. The woman, "Nicky" I think started talking about the fact that most molesters are white, hetero men.

Am I having a brainfart, or is this not how it went down?!

for the woman who was living in her house with her children...that's what really got them so upset during the meeting...and then Nicky came back by saying that most sex. predators are hetero men...

Another interesting thing was the Republican woman who was very wealthy, and showing off her nine carat ring at the beginning couldn't believe that someone wasnt staying home with the kid, they were both working...ummm...thats because both have to work to support the kid!!

For being a black woman, she was incredibly closed minded...what the one (I think Nicky) said was that 40 years ago, she couldn't have married her husband in TX...the Republican woman thought it was all about the money...she didn't get it...
