Minnesota Twins and Johan Santana close to deal ?
I'm hearing they are getting close on an agreement to keep the reigning Cy Young winner with the Twins for 4 years at $40 Mil or so with a 5th year option.

Please God make that happen...!!!!!

1. As a White Sox fan, I hope this isn't true. Can't the Mets grab him?
I admire the Twins and Santana, but I want my fellas to win the central this year. A Santana signing will make that tougher.

But the Twins will have him this year and next...he isn't eligible for free agency till after 2006 season.

Twins are trying to avoid that!

Sorry man...I love Chicago...hate the White Sox (though not as much as the Yanks)
