. . .that the gov't has shut down two charities that had gotten funds from a Mosque 80% funded by Hakeem Olajuwon because those funds were diverted to al Qaeda and Hammas!

Hakeem said he had no idea that these charities were fronts for terrorist fundraising, but those charities were on a U.S. gov't watch list prior to his donations.

4. Yeah, this is connected to the Islamic relief agency here in Columbia Mo

The agency is saying that it is a case of mistaken identity, that they aren't connected with a Sudanese group of a similar name. But the FBI just keeps pressing on. Personally, I think that it is being driven by hatred and bigotry towards the Islamic population and mosque here in Columbia. We're in the middle of redneck country, and there are a lot of people who dislike and "ferriners":eyes: Of course with the university here, most of the RW fundies think Columbia is sin city anyway, and way too intelligent for its own good. Our brand new boy govenor is reducing funds to the university, and some crackpot from down south has got a bill in the hopper to get rid of tenure at all state funded universities.
