I've been noticing lately how women use their voices in talking with one
another. Sometimes I cringe with the 'little-girl' like affectations taken on. aarrggh!

1. What in the world are you talking about?
Give an example, please. I must say, I've only noticed (some) women doing this around MEN.

3. I've been spending time in coffehouses lately, enjoying some
solo time - coffee, knitting, reading, etc. and it's difficult not to overhear conversations going on around me. It seems to me that at times some women are using flirty, kind of whiny voices when describing anything that's going on in their daily lives. I wonder if I'm just now noticing this or perhaps I'm just more 'zeroed' in on it because it's beginning to become a pet peeve of mine? O well.

2. I know what you mean
have you ever listened (without watching) to one of those infomercials about makeup etc?
Lots of giggling and putting themselves down to the other women.
What is up with that?

4. Personally, I kinda dig it
Especially when accompanied by the right kind of clothing, like cheerleaders' uniforms, or "babydoll" pyjamas; and with the hair put up in pigtails. That kind of thing. Just not at the office.

Not that any self-respecting girl-child under the age of 13 would be caught dead acting like that. At that age, they still have their dignity and common sense. Once they've grown up, then they can act like children.

5. Eww, what kind of women are those?
I stopped whining when I was 16 (yes I remember the day).

7. Hmm - if asked, they would probably be the types who would indulge
in a lot of plastic surgery.

8. Is this a Starbucks?
I think a certain kind of grown woman whines, and I think it's the kind that expects a 2 carat engagement ring, drives a Hummer she didn't pay for, and sleeps on a bed with superfluous pillows.

9. You are probably correct - that must be where the irritation
comes from for me.

10. How many pillows are superfluous?
I currently have 6 on my bed (and use them all!)

11. Yeah, stop it with the pillows!
I used three king-sized pillows and would use more if I slept alone.
