I mean in general. Not towards anything specific. Not out of frustration. Not even out of any emotion or feeling or state of mind at all. Do you ever just step back, take an objective look at our (humans) lives and think to yourself, "What the fuck?"
We're born. We Live. We Die. We pay Taxes. That much is given. :-) But what about the rest? What IS the rest?
Some people die very young. Some people die very old. But in the end, "What the fuck?" 99.9% of us will never know 99.9% of them.
Just one example. Here's another.
What motivates us to do what we do? Fear? I think fear motivates us more than anything but "what the fuck" do I know? Or possibly a tangent of fear...compassion. What is compassion? In my opinion, compassion is the fear that something we have feared would happen to us did, and we don't want it to happen to other people because we know it sucks. We're all pretty much good people, in our own opinions, so we don't really want to see anyone else suffer* hence compassion. However, there is always the star(*). We are selfish. Everyone is. Admit it or not, when it all boils down to it every individual person on this planet puts their own needs first. Or that of their wife, or their children or their parents or their whatever, but it all boils down to "their" which means what an individual values most. Back to the individual. Back to selfish. :-) We feel compassion all the time. We take steps to help those we feel compassion for when it doesn't interfere with our selfish goals. I've already defined selfish.
At this point, I'm just rambling, but I could write 20 paragraphs on this subject.
Do you ever wonder, "What the Fuck?"
