1. Letterman.
I keep hearing what a wonderful, loyal Dem Leno is.

And yet, he keeps whoring away for the right......

10. Yup, he sure does!
There is a plaque in the T-Comm. building that reads, "To all C students before and after me!" Signed by Dave himself.

3. Letterman
First, last, and always. Leno's a tool, and an unfunny one at that.

8. Because he's "safe." No risky jokes, nothing to offend anyone.
He's been focus grouped to death, I fear. Shame, really - he was once very funny.

15. It's 6he Gannon
factor...Leno's a shill for the powerful. Probably why Johnny Carson didn't like him.

5. Leno was a shill for Ahnold in his campaign.
And has Penis Miller as a frequent guest.

9. Leno could be interviewing
Robin Williams, Jonathon Winters and Don Rickles and he would still be boring as hell. His interview of Bill Belicheck and Deion Branch was painful to watch last night.

18. When he interviews, he tries to make jokes
You can tell he doesn't care what the guest is saying, he just tries to get the audience laughing at something, anything. Letterman is a terrific interviewer. You actually get to hear what people are thinking and how they live their lives. Also, Letterman isn't worried about having a serious interview. I don't think I've ever seen Leno do a serious interview. I don't think it's possible.

16. Letterman has always come off as an independent, smart
guy to me. Leno comes off as a slighty slow guy with writers who stay with noncontroversial subjects. The difference between them was dramatically shown on their first shows after 9-11. Letterman's show was a classic.
