2. I just had mine done today.
I paid my CPA $85 and she did my federal, state and local returns and electronically filed them. It took all of 20 minutes (plus, I got to ask some questions about flexible spending accounts).

4. We are still compiling...we have a software co., and our HR
had open-heart surgery last week... took her and us by suprise.... We're muddling through.

She's doing well too. A few of us are taking turns taking care of her pets.

5. Personal data or do you have employees?
Either way, that sounds like a hassle.

6. 67 employees, and a headache for weeks to come.
Unexpected tragedy, but pulling together. It really is a shock... she seemed healthy! She'd been w/ us for 2 years.
She'll be back... she's the best.

9. She was in the process, and had completed about 2/5ths
Extra $ out of 'pocket', but we hired a CPA to help 'tidy up' ... better than hiring a temp HR. And we are all so busy, that we can't afford the time. I, and a few others, can do interim HR, but NEED HELP making sure taxes are done (prepared for preparer) correctly.

19. Yes, it does. The baby was a preemie. The nurses gave her the...
...staph infection that killed her with a dirty IV in a freakin' Neo-Natal ICU unit. She was my oldest Son's first and probably his last Child. Life's a bitch sometimes.

22. ROFL! That's probably very good advice. My worst month recently...
...was December. It had too many anniversaries of deaths and marriages. I'm going to be just fine now. See the smile? :)

27. Sounds tasty!
My CPA probably makes less errors than the chicken, but she probably doesn't go so well with a nice glass of wine.

14. I ALWAYS used to do them myself- Paper Form
But mine were always relatively easy 1040A-w/EIC. Now I do it online ONLY because the return comes faster. This year though it looks as if I have to pay. Didn't GW give a tax cut?..... Oh yeah, it was only for the rich.

It's just a matter of did they withold too little or too much. Unless, of course, you are one of those who pays no income taxes whatsoever.
