What do you put on a hamburger?
... that is, if you eat meat?

I put cheese, tomato, mayo, and sometimes ketchup, lettuce, and pickles. Nothing too shocking.

What about you?

5. I make them different ways
One way is pretty typical. Tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, and onions.
The other way is a little different. I put Texas Pete chili, ketchup, A1, onions and tomatoes. I know it sounds odd, but I like it.

12. Mine MUST have cheese
then some mustard, mayo sometimes. Bacon is nice. A little bit of onion, not too much. Tomato if you can find real ones: not the plastic tomatoes you find in most stores. It sounds good.

17. Are you from
the NYC area? I grew up on Long Island and my first job was at McDonald's when I was 16. All the training videos had to be paused at the point of "apply mustard" to tell us that it doesn't apply to our area. We were all grossed out at the idea of mustard on a burger - it just seemed so wrong.

Now I've been in California for 20 years... we even put mustard on Turkey sandwiches. And we eat pineapple on pizza.

I can't believe they let you vary from the protocol!!

I love honey mustard on my turkey sandwiched, but then I used to live in CA and was a regular at the first California Pizza Kitchen.

42. Yep! NYC
I went to Los Angeles for a couple of weeks, and I ordered a cheese burger from the burger joint nearest my hotel. It hasd mustard on it! Yuck. I thought that was a fluke and a couple days later I dropped by a Burger King (still in Los Angeles), ordered a quarter pounder with cheese, took it back to my room, and yuck! Mustard again! Sacrilidge!

pickles and ketchup. I also like onions and mushrooms if they're available. When I'd go to Fuddruckers with the burger bar, I'd put on cheddar cheese sauce, salsa and jalepenos. So good.

29. No cheese
For some reason, I never liked cheese on burgers, even as a kid. I put ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, lettuce, and onions on them if those items are available and I'm eating burgers.
