Mark Ruffalo Appreciation Thread
for the first time since Steve McQueen passed away, I can truly say that I have a favorite actor. I really can't put my finger on what it is. He seems to have a humility to him that doesn't seem to exist in Hollywood very often.

1. I like Mark Ruffalo a lot.
A superb, underrrated actor...very good with Laura Linney in "You Can Count on Me". His last film, at least the one I saw, was "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

Ruffalo is a terrific character actor. He's getting the recognition he deserves.

2. I went to high school with him.
I didn't really know him, but knew of him. I think he moved to my hometown from Wisconsin in his sophmore or junior year. I believe he had another brother and a sister named Gina? but don't quote me on that(she was hot!:nuke:). He was part of the "cool kid" club, of which I could obtain no membership  maybe that explains why I can't stand him and why I believe as an actor he has no depth. He was real popular, come to think of it, he may have been a dick to me, he did hang with the crowd that thought it was hotter than shit but I might just be projecting. The school was First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Va in case you wanted to look it up or try to find his high school photo, try '87 or '88.

3. Very much agree.
Per Internet Movie Database, he'll be in 4 upcoming movies: Every World is True, All The King's Men, Just Like Heaven, and Rumor Has it. His movies of 2004 included Eternal Sunshine, We Don't Live Here Anymore, 13 Going on 30, and Collateral. I think he's a great actor and I can't put my finger on it, but he seems like a genuinely nice person. Can't wait to see his upcoming movies!
