I just installed new software-anti-spyware, Anonymizer from Zone Labs

Interesting suite. The anti-spyware software is just a test ($66 test at that) and doesn't seem any more effective (or less) than the new Microsoft Anti-spyware software (which I find better than anything else out there except AdAware) and their Anonymizer 'ghost surf' software.

The ghosting software slows down loading time just a bit, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with it. Time will tell how good it is. I have some software to test it (hehehehehe).

One last item, one purchase, no limit installations it appears, as long as you use the correct original user name/registration and license number. It is registered each time you install it. They allow unlimited downloads for one year with the additional fee of $6.95, so multiple installs on your home system(s) is OK.

1. First test, I am not happy

Because of the steps used to 'ghost' my ID, the Anonymizer slows my speed down from 5.6MB/sec to 2.4MB/sec (cable). :( I guess if I'm concerned about where I am surfing, it's ok, but the decrease in bandwidth is troubling.
