Sunrise in Houston this morning was like a freakin Thomas Kinkade painting
Edited on Fri Feb-11-05 09:11 AM by Richardo
...only better 'cause it wasn't painted by a right wing fundie with assembly-line sweatshop production and an absurd sense of lighting and no talent.

OK it was NOTHING like a Kincaid painting but it sure was beautiful.

1. Think again
What you are seeing is pollution in the air from the Republican corporatation. One man's beautiful sunrise is another man's death sentence.

2. No. I've lived in Los Angeles and I've been in Houston for 12 years.
I know the difference between smog and alto-cirrus clouds underlit by the sunrise. Mostly gold, salmon, orange and this outrageous magenta. Beautiful.

5. Yeah, that phone company has a habit of ruining perfectly good views....
...with a Public Utility Pole

6. Alas, Houston is missing the hilly terrain as well.
Generally, the topography is flat as a billiard table.

But the sky did look pretty fine....

12. Oh, yes, I guess it will be. I can recall taking film of caribou...
...and fox at midnight in Alaska.
