Dear DU Family,

My husband has been a long time reader of the DU and has taken me from the dark side (I was a 'pub) and shown me the true way. Reading your postings has made a bid impact on both our lives and I thank you for it. I now ask for a favor.

My husband is going into surgery (bi-lateral hernia repair) on Feb 16 and he'll be out for 10 days. Although it's considered "minor" surgery, he's 50, and given his history of heart attacks, I'm still worried. Some of you have met him (aka "Snuggle-muffin") and others have just heard me brag about him, but all of you know that he is more than just an important part of my life -- he IS my life.

So if you are so inclined, please send a good thought or prayer his way so that everything comes out OK. If not, that's OK too.
