In light of Arthur Miller's death, I suggest we all read The Crucible
And look at it in regards to what is happening in this country today.

It'll scare the hell out of you.

Rest in peace, Arthur

4. Yes, set in 1620 Salem, but reflecting the McCarthy witch-hunts
of the 50's when it was first produced. Of course, the Repuke party held both houses of Congress of that time also.

7. It was such a waste on me in high school. (many books/plays)
I think back to what we read and what I thought of it all then, and compare it to how I feel about it now and am embarrassed about how I was...

8. It's called growing up!
Thank God you did it! Not everyone does!

There's lots of stuff I thought was great that I don't now, and vice-versa!

6. Yeah, it was a decent adaptation...
...better than most critics gave it credit for. I mean, how can it not be good with both Daniel Day Lewis AND Joan Allen!
