4. 1990 here
I have fond and clear memories of 1987. It seems like young people are getting younger and younger while I just get older and older.

Yikes.

6. I was in third grade at the beginning of '87 and
8 years old. My brother, who is going to be 21 in June, turned 3 that year. My son will be turning 3 in October of this year.

12. Me too.
It was really weird when my sons started attending preschool at a local high school. All the high school kids taking care of my kids were born in 1987.

7. Some were born in '86
Those born after September 1 were born in '86.

My son was born October '87. He still has another year after this one, and he was not held back.

9. I did the UK equivelant
of graduating...(passing my A levels) last year.

We dont get a prom...or robes...or little hats to throw in the air, we get a certificate and a hearty handshake from bunch of teachers with major body odour issues.

15. I graduated high school in 1986
I went through this same thing last year. What freaks me out is that now I see a person who looks almost like someone I knew in high school or college, so I do a double-take, only to realize that my real acquaintance would actually be in his or her late 30s or early 40s, not 18 still. :D
