His ending is admittedly ambiguous. However, one must remember that he is a "professional" and that he has already successfully shot his way through a bunch of cops at this point of the movie.

It has always been my contention that Mr. Pink successfully shoots his way out of the second wave of cops outside the warehouse.

Origin:

Mothra's origin is not well known. She was the guardian of an ancient race of tiny humanoids named the Cosmos who lived on earth.
