It hit me hard last night. Five years? How is that possible? I remember the day she was born like it was just last month. I remember the scent of her little bald head as if I was just holding her. When I sleep, I'm sometimes still woke up by her baby cries.

What a cruel joke has been played. When I was young, time couldn't pass quickly enough for my liking. Now that I have young ones myself, time refuses to slow down.

Happy birthday to my fellow GW Bush hater... the world's tiniest (and probably best) politician... a fellow Aquarian. May you always carry that wonderful sparkle in your eyes.
