The cable guy was just here and my Internet connection is FAST again!

It's been sluggish for a few days ... it kept stalling all the time. It was driving me nuts! I'm used to broadband speed and I felt like I was using dial-up again.

But now I'm my connection is flying! :bounce:

4. Believe it or not ...

the incoming signal was too high! (I figured it would be a weak signal that was causing the problem.) He adjusted it and everything's fine now. I guess my connection was suffering from overload, LOL!

I'm under the impression that the cable outlet is just like a garden hose.....it flows or it doesn't...speed problems are usually a problem with my pc.....

5. No, that's not true ...

we've had signal problems in the past, but it's usually been a weak signal. I think it has something to do with the broadband connection sharing the cable TV line. They split the signal so one goes to the TV and the other goes to the modem, but sometimes the strength of the broadband signal gets messed up.

The funny thing is ... Road Runner just started airing commercials saying how fast they are now - they've doubled their speed. But ever since those commercials began, I've had a slow connection. :crazy:
