Good Samaritan is discarded baby's mother, BSO says

" NORTH LAUDERDALE -- An unbelieveable twist to an unbelieveable story was just that -- unbelieveable -- Broward Sheriff Ken Jenne said on Friday.

The sheriff said the Good Samaritan who picked up a child that she said had been thrown out of a car was in fact the abandoned child's real birth mother who wanted to hide an unwanted pregnancy from her family."

Not meant as a dig on FL, but why does this kind of thing always seem to be reported there?

As for the baby, he's had a rough start so far, maybe he has some loving relatives that can take care of him until mom gets her head sorted out.

She sublimated her desire to be rid of the child into her story.
The act of violence was fictional and made her good samaritan act seem kind, the baby was never thrown out of a window.

I hope she gets the help she needs. (shakes head)

When I saw the picture of the poor little guy, I was wondering why he wasn't bruised and broken.
It is a tragic situation.
