I'm only 18 and I've had two actual jobs, and a few little jobs for friends of my mom. And it's tough out there! Everyone is looking for job. Well at least it seems like everyone is looking for a job... :shrug:

the last job I decided to refuse after the UA, the damn doctor looks in your mouth, and checks your reflexes just like he's buying a slave or race horse...that's how I felt, then says piss in this cup...

But after ten or twelve times, one becomes a little sad and insecure!

...to always remember that you are trying to sell a high cost item (yourself) to a select group of folks, and that it is by definition a harder sell because of that. That's why the experts all say to network through professional organizations and to pull every string with folks you know who may know of a spot that would fit you and your talents.

Of course, the experts all have JOBS! Heh...sigh...

you just have to keep at it. It's taken me 9 months now, but I finally got an offer today. The market totally sucks, but there are still a few jobs out there.
