Can you be a liberal and still drink Old Fashioneds?

I really like them, but they seem like such old Republican drinks. I don't like feeling like a conservative old fogey when all my trendy friends are drinking microbrews! :shrug:

3. My partner's grandpa is a very LIBERAL grouchy old dude

who hates Dubya, hated Reagan, loved Clinton, is pro-choice and is cool about all gay issues.

He drinks a couple of Old Fashions every night before dinner. It makes him a belligerent old liberal dude at the dinner table and he cracks me up!
