Poll question: Does all humanity share a single subconscious mind?
A mind that we can all tap into without realising?

2. Yes. Infinitively. Sorry took a while to answer...
Went to read the different links, than discussed it with a friend.

We both think that it can be proven and will eventually be.

Is it going to be androgenous?

Do we have a better chance to disdover it if at last men and woman can communicate with each other?

3. Yes. Though unfortunately most have turned the "volume" down...
and wouldn't "hear" our message...even if we "sent" it.

How to change that, I don't know. We have such 'possibilities,' and yet...

5. You're all correct.
But spreading that kind of knowledge is not something our culture is geared toward. Quite the opposite. Until this becomes universal knowledge, mankind has no future.

I think I might work on some basic frames of these ideas.

The poll so far is kind of scary.

12. I Agree Utterly. And Argue On Intelligent Design Threads On The Import
ofo studying Consciousness and at least ENTERTAINING the possibility that Consciousness is the root stuff of the Universe.

Fundie Scientists won't even consider doing this as a Thought Experiment.

There are some groundbreaking Scientists who WILL think out of the box.

Funny how wed to the Establishment Scientists really are.

6. Everything is connected.
I know this might be a bit heavy for midnight on the weekend, but the holographic design of the universe is fascinating.

7. Musicians
seem to have this. I have noticed that songs I wrote in 1992 were very similar to songs released in the mid 90's. I know another musician who thinks that this is true too, because we have written songs separately that sound almost identical.

9. All humanity having a single mind is a creepy thought.

Individualism being destroyed, even subconsciously is a dangerous thought. Or did I completely miss your point?

10. I didn't mean it in quite that sense
Although the premise would seem to imply that individualism is an illusion. But no, I don't mean one collective Borg-like consciousness. A better phrasing of the question would have been: are our individualities are all ultimately connected in one universal supermind that enhances–rather than limits–our identities.

Hell, I'm getting much deeper than I intended. I'm not a philosopher. DON"T ASK ME TO MAKE SENSE, MAN!

15. OK I get it now.
It seems like an interesting thought. At the risk of being too theological, perhaps the knowledge of God that I believe is in all of us, unifies us, meaning our conscience. Again, just thinking.

14. Think Of The Ocean, It Has Bays Which Have Inlets Which Have
streams.

the Ocean is Prakriti or Mind Stuff
the Bay is Human Consciousness or Christos
the Inlet is YOU and I (individuals)

13. actually a good proportion of humanity
...doesn't even have a conscious mind. Babies below a certain age, Alzheimer's patients, George W. Bush...there is less mentation going on out there than we might like to believe. Everybody having their own subconscious mind, much less sharing it in some sort of secret network, no way in my view.

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.
