What's your favorite pig-out food...
Since it seems like I've been eating all day...

Me I like anything spicy, like nachos with hot salsa (I'm sweating just thinking about it), or olives stuffed with jalapenos...

What do you have a craving for?

23. "One Sweet Whirled"
is a mix of: caramel & coffee ice creams with marshmallow & caramel swirls & coffee flavored fudge chips

Ben & Jerry's along with the Dave Matthews Band at www.onesweetwhirled.org are working with environmental advocacy groups to help stop global warming.

How's that for feeling good about what you're eating?

with gobs of Hersey's chocolate syrup. I love hot, spicy foods and could really pig out on them, but my stomach disagrees.

8. They only make it in New Mexico and Colorado, especially Denver.
Green Chili

In Denver, they have contests to see which restaurant or bar has the best green chili.

It's like a stew and it's usually made with pork.
Fresh roasted chili's, and simmered for hours and hours, when made right, it's the best thing on the planet.

Whenever I am in Denver, I seek out something called "Chile Verde con puerco" a classic New Mexico-style green that's packed with pork loin and kick ass chile's.

Give me a half dozen warm flour tortillas, a steamy bowl of green, and three or four ice cold Negra Modelo's and I am in HEAVEN!

22. It is not difficult to make. I buy roasted Hatch Chiles when
Central Market has the annual Hatch Fest and freeze them so I can make Chile Verde

That stuff is so good. We were on vacation in southern Colorado one year at the beginning of Hatch season, and every restaurant we went to had their version of chile verde...we ate it all over the place, and every one of them was different.

makes me want to make a big batch this week. YUM

25. I'm in Colorado. Maybe I should
go get some today? Wooo HOOOO!
What's funny is in Nebraska they have pork chili that is like a brown gravy with pieces of slow roasted pork. It's spicy and has a really good flavor that you can't find in anything else. I used to get it smothered over a cheese enchilada, made with a flour tortilla, not corn. Delicious.

But I can't get it in Colorado. So I guess I'll settle for the pork green chili.

16. Bar-B-Que!
Any time! I love hot-n-spicy, too. When I eat spicy food, heat radiates out of the top of my head. You can feel it a foot above my head. Weird.
I also have been craving gumbo ever since BikeWriter mentioned it a couple days ago.
