10. I opted for the tepid bath...hardly satisfying |
|
I'm sure the whole experience would have been better in Vegas...but alas...we'll never know.

3. I feel your pain. My hot water heater broke a few years ago. |
|
And I was without hot water for 2 weeks until my son was able to get over to replace it. Luckily, it was in August, so cold showers were not any big problem when the temperature was in the 80s and 90s. I just turned off the air conditioning before I took a shower.

My heater died on me on New Years eve - just before a party. took days to get it fixed with the holidays an' all - it was called a summer/winter hookup, and I needed an oil burner guy - we lost heat and hot water.
when we were in an Apt, I could count on Sunday being laundry day for all of the building - I had to get up early to have hot water - I hated that too.
