You know what I hate....when the door bell rings and its not relatives...
I got to bed way late last night 0430 am and planned on sleeping in to at least noon. My door bell begins ringing at 0950 am and then knocking. I drag myself out of bed and hobble out only to find 2 well dressed young men all eager and smiling. Well they weren't selling cookies. I slammed the door and tried to go back to sleep. Its bad enough when they show up during the week now they come by on Sunday..guess no one told them its a day of rest.

3. well...next time you want to sleep in...
either get some sidewalk chalk and police tape, draw a human outline on the ground and put some religious pamphlets by your door...

or use this trick linky

i think either would work quite well. the first is if you wanna sleep in, the second is if you wanna mess with their heads.

5. If I'm not expecting anyone - I don't answer the door.
Call first - and if ya don't have my number don't come a knockin.

:silly:

Keep a knockin' but you can't come in,
Keep a knockin' but you can't come in,
Keep a knockin' but you can't come in,
Come back tomorrow night and try it again.

8. All ya need is a big dog at your side and a friendly grin
Or a Daughter who is Wiccan. The last time that happened when my Daughter was home alone, she got her Wiccan books and asked them if they'd like to try her religion. They turned and left without comment. She asked them to come back, but they refused to acknowledge her. She put some decals on the mailbox, which she said will keep the Fundies away. It works. Love that kid.
