I watched "Collateral" last night

Tom Cruz does a very good job playing a heartless, cold-blood, man-with-no-conscience professional killer.

Lots of action.

I expected some comedy from Jamie Foxx's role but there was none, really.

Plenty of violence in this movie.

Jada Pinkett Smith also does well. What a cutie pie.

There is an unexpected twist leading to the ending.

The "study of a killer's mind" is a running theme amidst the action.

If you are entertained by high-powered action shoot-em-ups, I recommend it.

Scary too,in that it was SO real. At first it appeared that it would be boring but I was soon rivetted to my chair!

9. I loved the lighting effects...

...and if I'm noticing stuff like that during a movie, it usually means there's a serious weakness in some other aspect of it. Collateral wasn't too bad, though. I wouldn't have said the star performances were Oscar caliber, as someone else suggested, but everything hung together pretty well.
