How often do you clean and wash the inside of your fridge?
Every Saturday I go through my fridge tossing what is outdated and disinfect the shelves. Is this too frequent?

6. I clean out and defrog mine every couple of weeks.
More often in the summer - ice really builds up quick in the back of the freezer in 100° heat!

7. However often I have people over who may look inside...
I really can't think of a better time to clean house than just before people are expected to come over.

I try to discourage that, however.

12. huh
I've had my fridge a decade and a half. I think I did disinfect the shelves one time now you mention it.

I never have outdated stuff in the fridge though because I use leftovers immediately for next day lunches. So I never get any weird green growths or anything of that nature.

If you enjoy cleaning your fridge that often, carry on, I doubt it's necessary though.

even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

16. One advantage to having no food...
is that the refrigerator is so much easier to clean. Let's take a moment to thank Bushie for stealing the food from us to make our lives easier. Just kidding, but I am trying to look for positives in this incredibly negative world ruled by Bush.
