Poll question: What's your favorite color?
I'm sure that this has been polled before, but, in honor of Christo's "The Gates" and the diversity of opinion about them-I'm curious!

1. I'm a blue woman myself
though I'm not sure if having The Gates in blue would make any difference ;-)

6. Thanks, since I know you're an artist too...
I would have said Titanium White...but I know from my color theory classes, that white is not a color... :7

10. There are more than 30,000 whites
Not bad for a non-color, eh? (Of course they're really very pale tints of all the other colors)

12. I think I should also note that Black is not a color either
Edited on Sun Feb-13-05 09:48 PM by Longgrain
And "Browns" are merely neutralized hues of another, more worthy color...

15. True, so true!
Or...... is black the absorption of all colors and white the absence of all color? Or is black really blue and brown mixed? 9speaking in pigment terms, that is)
Ahh, this is getting way too involved!

 :eyes:

5. eff if I know
I've probably put every one of them down in the answer space at one time or another except for the blue/lavender/VERY "coolest" colors. And even saying this now I suddenly recall decorating the entire interior of a house in pale blue.

But in general I do lean toward the "hot" colors. Hmm. Except what about the extended period when my favorite color was green? Isn't green a cool color?

And there was that time when all I wore was white.

Followed by that time when I only wore black.

Stop asking me my favorite color, my head hurts.

I can't believe banks ask this as a security question. If you're a visual person like 90 percent of Americans, doesn't this change every freakin' day?

7. Yeah, you have a point
My constant favorite is purple but, different colors become as important to me depending on ??? Mood, time of year, surrounding colors?
It sounds like your recurring favorite is pale blue with a preference for cool colors....making you very cool!

Re: banking questions-why, that answer should always be "green"!:D
