I really enjoyed the opening show of the Grammy's except for them, and now they won that award, but I hate that song and loved all the others up against it. Bah!

It's funny though I just went to my posts to look if anyone replied and I see

Rev
Nag, nag, nag. Whine, whine, whine.

And I was like "oh shit, I pissed somebody off!"

But it's just you teasing me. :D

7. Oh good
I got paranoid and thought I had pissed you off!

I don't care for Los Lonely Boys, either. They're talented and good at what they do, but they do nothing for me.

8. Hehe it's all good!
Yeah I know, I'll give them credit, they're fine musicians, but I don't like their music.

4. obligatory grammar nerd post
"los" = "the" in Spanish, so "the Los Lonely Boys" is as redundant as saying "salsa sauce"...which also drives me up the wall.

(Sorry, like most grammar nerds I can't help it...)

6. Los Lonely Boys are some of the nicest guys you could ever hope
to meet.

I can see not liking Heaven, its a little boring, I guess. YOu should hear them live - they can really play. I've never been nuts about their style of music, but have always appreciated the skill with which they play and they are some very genuine folks. I've known them for years and they deserve any and all successes that come their way. They've been playing for a living since they were pre-teen - and they've played some places that were really damn rough.

Anyway, give em a chance, they are really pretty damn good.

9. I've seem them interviewed, they do seem very nice and down to earth.

But they're music does nothing for me.

I think the reason why I have such feelings for Heaven, is because it was played so much.

But I'm glad they found success, they seem really nice, and I'm sure deserving. :)

10. I've heard others say that - but I don't listen to the radio
unless its unavoidable so most of its all new to me. The album is a real mix - some good Stevie Ray Vaughan stuff and some other that is their own. I think as they mature they will be an interesting band. And yeah, overplayed and over-exposed. THat guitar player sure can play, even when its crap its good.

:hi:
